Its been a long journey for her and after 2.5 weeks of preseason with mucho homesickness (she goes to school in FLA we live in PA) she has settled in and should play a bunch, if not start. I lost 4 units on Mexico on Wednesday (someone please remind me never to bet international freidlies any more), but tonight I am going to watch a soccer match where my wife, daughter and I have invested a million units on and it will be a winner!

Congratulations! You and your wife should be very proud of your daughter.

I had two female cousins graduate 3 years ago from D1 soccer and a male cousin graduated last year.

They told me the games aren't well attended but the programs are great. It's come a long way in the last 20 years.

Not sure if she's the last soccer child to leave the nest but if she is you're going to go through withdrawl symptoms with no youth soccer to look forward to 7 days a week. LOL.

I've been told that's the hardest thing to adjust to. No games, no practices, no tournaments. BOL.

BUMP!!!! I can't tell you what a freshman season my daughter had and how much I appreciated the supportive posts from Rolltide, cocktailsnlongshots and arukidnme meant that nervous first night. She not only earned a starting spot at center mid, but today earned a first team all conference honor after being the only unanimous first team selection. Thanks Guys......City is my favorite EPL side, but even after their midweek folly they are so overpriced it is impossible to play them Saturday....however I really like Everton to win at +165 Sunday....good luck and thanks!

Thanks for the update. I am excited for your whole family. What an honor.

I bet she's not just a great player but has a solid head on her shoulders and that's the makings of a leader.

Wish her the best in the conference tounaments. I hope they win.
